A Letter to the Future
Dear friend,
As I write these words in November 2025, I want to share with you some thoughts I've had throughout the journey of making this product, and also tell you about my vision for the future.
Miremo originated from a simple idea: what if there was a tool that could integrate our ideas, materials, and notes scattered in various places, and then help us review, connect, and generate new insights using intelligent methods? From design to frontend, backend, and AI model integration, this idea gradually became a product prototype that I crafted myself.
During the development process, I increasingly realized the amplifying effect AI has on thinking. As an engineer, I can use AI to organize information, retrieve evidence, and verify ideas more quickly; as a product manager and designer, I can use it to create more empathetic experiences. AI is not just a tool; it's more like a reliable assistant, helping you clarify vague ideas.
Regarding Miremo's vision, I want to put it simply: I hope it becomes your personal "thinking workbench". Here, you can collect all valuable materials, conversation snippets, reading notes, and scattered inspiration to form your exclusive knowledge assets. Then, with the help of AI, Miremo will help you reorganize, refine, and present meaningful connections and insights from these fragments.
I believe AI's impact on humanity is just beginning. In the next ten or twenty years, this force will profoundly change our work and lifestyle, just like PCs and the Internet did in the past. My expectation is that Miremo can be a warm and useful partner in this transformation: helping you save time on repetitive work, giving you more energy to think and create.
About the timeline and investment: Miremo has been less than a year from idea to now, but I see it as a long-term project. Perhaps for the next 5 years, 10 years, it will be a direction where I continuously invest my efforts and time, with the goal of polishing it into a tool worthy of long-term use.
Functionally, I will continue to focus on two things: first, to centrally and securely store your data as a private knowledge base; second, to help you review, summarize, and generate new insights in an intelligent way. In the short term, priority will be given to improving the indexing, retrieval, and summarization capabilities of notes and documents; in the medium to long term, I hope to achieve long-term memory and personalized recommendations across diary entries and topics.
Finally, thank you for your attention to Miremo, and thank you for taking the time to read these ideas. If you have any feedback, thoughts, or features you'd like to see, please let me know anytime—every word from you will be the motivation for me to keep moving forward.
Haosen
